The Tibetan Monastery in Mysore is a must visit. When I was visiting Mysore, we decided to drop in and see the beauty of the place. It was crowded, buzzing with people. Yet there was peace and stillness in the air. You could hear the birds above the din of people, which meant there were many birds there. There were great halls and amazing artwork on the walls. It was just such a bright, vibrant place.
There were many monks wandering here and there, but most of them were immersed in their duties.
I greeted a few of them with my sisters, and it felt so good! We couldn’t stay there long because it was nearly closing time when we got there, but I managed to take some images.
One word to describe the monastery: Beautiful.
