There’s a market in a town in Rajasthan, India-which is exclusively for ladies. And it’s aptly named, err, Ladies Market. It’s situated in an array of old, old houses, beautiful in age and grace. Check out the pictures below to get a feel of this town!
Telephone wires are literally everywhere.
There are just so many cars everywhere, which clashes horribly with the amount of old, old buildings here.
The funny thing about ‘Ladies’ Market..all the shopkeepers are men.
Loving this sari colour and design.
Mirrors at a jeweller’s.
The detail on the balcony and over the door is just stunning. All hand painted, every bit.
It’s funny how grand the chandelier is, and there’s a very simple light poking out. You’d think they’d find a correct sized bulb.
On the streets. Schoolgirls in a scooter, getting late for school, I guess. They were in a pretty big hurry. And did I mention that the roads here are really narrow?
